The Friday Top Five Paleo Picks
Your Top Five Paleo Picks are too good to skip over this week. Paleo Diet Reviews, controversial Paleo haters and some seriously delicious recipes to check out.
1.) Paleo is not an easy lifestyle at first
I have to agree that it takes dedication, preparedness and pure determination to want to achieve health and diet results. I do however, believe that it is the most enjoyable way of living a healthy lifestyle once you start to notice how great you feel. When you aren’t waking up feeling sick and tired on a daily basis, your hard work is worth it.
I love what Mind Body Green has written about practicing 80/20 Paleo. These Paleo tips they provided are a great way to achieve that successful Paleo Lifestyle without too much hassle.
2.) Asian take- out without the nasty additives! This recipe looks so delicious, I know what I am adding to my meal plan this week. Paleo Orange Chicken in just 12 minutes. That is faster and cheaper than take- out. Enjoy!
3.) Another controversial week in Paleo!
As a mom, I nursed my son until he was over a year old. I ate Paleo during my pregnancy and during nursing. My son is being raised to eat healthy foods and make healthy choices. We don’t allow him to eat gluten or sugar (unless his grandparents sneak it to him!).
I have not read ‘The Paleo Way: For New Mums, Babies and Toddlers” , I have read a lot of articles about the controversy. My conclusion is simple, feed your child healthy foods and do what you feel is best for your child. I don’t think that McDonalds is right for my family, but I am not going to blast others for doing it. I know what works for us and that is what I will stick to. My son is a thriving, energetic, healthy and happy boy and I do not belong in prison.
4.) Bone Broth is Here to Stay. The nourished kitchen has a great recipe for Bone Broth. I really enjoy my bone broth shots and the benefits. Do you enjoy Bone Broth shot benefits? If you haven’t tried it, I recommend reading this article and trying it out.
5.) Copycat Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Go Paleo. It’s no surprise these are a top share this week in the Paleo community as parents are searching for healthier options to fill Easter baskets. I made these for my husband for Valentine’s Day in a heart shape and they were AWESOME! I used cashew nut butter to make them 100% Paleo.
