Despite the now-chilly weather, you can still enjoy a vibrant, spiced iced drink during these autumn months and actually stick to your Paleo diet—with a big, diet-committed smile plastered across your face.

At least: that’s how I feel when I’m drinking this Paleo diet pumpkin smoothie. Enamored with myself and my life choices! Look at me? I’m on a “diet”! And yet: I’m so happy? Whatever. I’ll take it.

This smoothie is essential for:

1. A Paleo Diet Sugar Detox.

If you’re looking to reduce your current sugar cravings, this spiced pumpkin smoothie is perfect for you. It’s stocked with vibrant autumn flavor, and it doesn’t leave that super-sweet sticky flavor in your mouth.

2. Boosting Your Paleo Diet Protein Intake.

Remember: in order to rev your metabolism, you have to have muscles that require more and more calories to survive. And in order to have muscles, you have to build those muscles with anabolic proteins. The Paleo-friendly whey protein powder included in this recipe is PERFECT for you.

3. Cinnamon Decreases Your Hunger Cravings.

The cinnamon in this spiced pumpkin smoothie actually beats back against your sugar cravings and works to reduce your cellular inflammation, helping you to fight back against disease and cancers. Through a few extra sprinkles of cinnamon spice, you can glide back onto the Paleo diet easily!
